Minor League Player of the Day – Cody Bellinger (Ogden) - 2 for 4, 1 3B, 2 runs. Bellinger has quietly had a very solid season for the Raptors as he is hitting .325 for the year. While he hasn't shown a ton of power with just 3 homers, he does also have 12 doubles and 5 triples in just 45 games to go along with a .858 OPS.

Rookie Ogden – The Raptors gave up 5 runs in the 1st inning and were not able to recover in a 9 - 4 loss to the Chukars (Royals). Starter J.D. Underwood got the first two hitters of the game out, but then allowed 6 straight batters to reach base which resulted in the 5 early runs. The rehabbing Jose Dominguez then took over in relief and permitted a hit and a run while getting 2 outs, then Ryan Taylor allowed the final 2 runs to score. Trevor Oaks was the lone bright spot on the pitching staff in this game as he tossed 1.1 perfect frames and struck out 3 of the 4 batters he faced. At the dish the Raptors managed just one extra base hit, and that belonged to player of the day Cody Bellinger who went 2 for 4 with a triple and 2 runs scored. Joseph Meggs has the only other multi-hit game as he was 2 for 2, and Alex Verdugo had his first hitless contest since joining the club as he went 0 for 4. One other note is that Julian Leon was hit by a pitch, and while he initially stayed in the game, he was removed one inning later.

Coming up – The Lookouts postseason starts on Thursday as they begin their best of 5 game series against the Huntsville Stars (Brewers). While Chattanooga hasn't yet announced their starter, a good bet would be no-hit man Andres Santiago. The Raptors play their regular season finale by sending Victor Gonzalez to the mound.
Minor League Transactions – Ogden: Joseph Meggs was assigned to the Raptors.
