Dodgers-Cardinals June 7 matchup picked for ESPN Sunday Night Baseball

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers and Cardinals will be televised on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball on June 7, a 5 p.m PT start at Dodger Stadium, the network announced on Monday.

This will be the first Sunday Night Baseball appearance of the 2015 season for the Dodgers.

The game, the finale of a four-game weekend series in Los Angeles, will feature two teams that currently have the two best records in baseball. The Cardinals (22-9) have eliminated the Dodgers (20-10) in the playoffs in each of the past two seasons.

Dan Shulman will call the game for ESPN, along with analysts John Kruk and Mark Mulder, plus reporter Buster Olney. The game will be broadcast exclusively by ESPN, and will be available to watch online and on mobile devices through Watch ESPN.

Jon Sciambi and Chris Singleton will call the game for ESPN Radio.

The Dodgers have three more possible ESPN Sunday night games this season, all at home — June 21 against the Giants, Aug. 2 vs. the Angels and Aug. 30 against the Cubs, with start times to be determined. ESPN will announce future Sunday Night Baseball matchups later in the season.
