The Dodgers go for a second consecutive win on Tuesday night in San Francisco against the Giants, and will do so with Alex Guerrero at third base.

This snaps a string of five games of alternating starts at third for Juan Uribe and Justin Turner.

This is the seventh start this season at third base for Guerrero, who has also started nine times in left field.

Guerrero, in an 0-for-9 slump, hasn't yet faced Tim Hudson, starting for the Giants on Tuesday night. Uribe was 2-for-14 against him, while Turner was 2-for-12.

With 95 plate appearances, Jimmy Rollins and Hudson are each other's most common opponent. Rollins has hit .227/.284/.455 with three home runs, five doubles and three triples against him in a matchup that dates back to 2005.

Adrian Gonzalez is 10-for-27 (.370) in his career against Hudson with two home run, though both home runs came in 2006.
