The Dodgers had a detour on their trip to Texas on Sunday night, when their flight from San Diego was re-routed to Los Angeles due to a mechanical error. After a delay of a few hours and switching planes, the Dodgers made their way to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and landed just after 2 a.m. PT.
Heck of a team win. TX bound. ⚾️✈️. #HappyFlight

Made an unplanned landing in LA. Mechanical issues so we're switching planes. TX will have to wait a wee bit longer. #SafetyFirst ✈️⚾️

#Dodgers have switched planes at LAX should be taking off shortly for Dallas.

You know what's not great...taking off in San Diego and landing in LA when you're supposed to be in route to Dallas.

Awesome watching Castro's walk off winner on a plane scheduled to go from SD to Dallas yet sitting on an LAX Tarmac #BigLeagueTravelFail

Let's try this again. After re-routed flight because of mechanical issues, 2+ hour delay on ground & changing planes, we're TX bound. ⚾️✈️

.@Cindyluellis they actually asked us to fasten our seat belts as we landed! The nerve! So glad our unlimited food/drink transferred planes

#Dodgers PR says plane carrying team landed at LAX en route to Dallas due to mechanical issue, and "it was NOT an emergency landing".
