LOS ANGELES -- As the Dodgers try to salvage a game from the Rangers on Thursday night's series finale at Dodger Stadium, here are some notes on the regulars on offense, mostly bad, some good.
Joc Pederson since tying a franchise record on June 3 with his fifth consecutive game with a home run has 10 walks in 12 games and a .380 on-base percentage, but is also 7for-38 (.184) with a double for a .211 slugging percentage.
Yasiel Puig is 1-for-12 (.083) with a double and a walk against the Rangers this week.
Adrian Gonzalez is in a 5-for-42 (.119) slump dating back to June 6.
Since his walk-off single to beat Arizona on June 10, Howie Kendrick is 5-for-26 (.192) with a double and a walk in six games.
Justin Turner has at least one hit in each of his last 19 starts, dating back to May 22, hitting .377/.419/.493 in those games.
Yasmani Grandal has home runs in three of his last five starts.
Andre Ethier is in a 9-for-48 (.188) slump, dating back to June 2.
Jimmy Rollins is in a 5-for-41 (.122) slump, dating back to June 3.
Then again, Zack Greinke is at home, and he's 3-for-5 when using 'Careless Whisper' as hit at-bat music, so the Dodgers have that going for them.
Anthony Ranaudo gets called up for the spot start for the Rangers on Thursday. In his one spot start earlier this season for Texas, he allowed six runs in 1⅔ innings for a 32.40 ERA, allowing six hits and two walks in his 13 batters faced.
