2014 First Round pick Grant Holmes matched his season high 6 IP, allowing just three hits and striking out six in picking up his fifth win of the season.
Triple-A Oklahoma City
A ninth inning two-run home run by Shawn Zarraga tied the game and then a Scott Schebler walk-off beat the Express (Rangers) 7-6 in 12 innings at Oklahoma City.
Daniel Coulombe pitched a scoreless inning to get the win. There were also solid relief appearances by Yimi Garcia, Preston Guilmet, Josh Ravin and Juan Gonzalez.
Eric Stults started for the Dodgers and allowed four runs and eight hits in his 5⅔ IP. Matt West had a rough game, allowing a two-run home run that gave the Express the late lead.
Kyle Jensen had a two RBI triple and Jensen went 2-for-5 with two runs scored. Schebler was 2-for-4 with two runs scored an a walk. Shawn Zarraga matched his one home run total in 2013 and 2014 with his two-run shot, Zarraga went 2-for-5.

Double-A Tulsa
The Drillers scored two runs in the eighth and five runs in the ninth in their 8-1 win over the Naturals (Royals). Erisbel Arruebarrena drove in the tie-breaking run in the eighth while doubles by Brian Burgamy and Lars Anderson drove in three runs in the ninth.
Jeremy Khert allowed one run in his 7 IP. Khert allowed four hits and struck out four. Deck McGuire made his first relief appearance for the Drillers and McGuire picked up his first save by pitching two scoreless innings.
Ronald Torreyes was 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBI. Adam Law was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI.

Class-A Rancho Cucamonga
The Quakes and Rawhide (Dbacks) were in a scoreless tie going to the ninth inning but then a throwing error by Cody Bellinger led to a Rawhide sacrifice fly and a 1-0 win at Rancho Cucamonga.
Rawhide had runners on first and second with no outs in the ninth but then a sacrifice bunt attempt by Fidel Pena was thrown away by Bellinger and the bases were now loaded. A sacrifice fly by Stryker Trahan drove in the only run of the game.
John Richy returned from the disabled list and Richy pitched seven innings, allowed seven hits and a walk while striking out six.
Jacob Scavuzzo was 2-for-4 in an otherwise quiet day at the plate for the Quakes.
Low Class-A Great Lakes
The Loons saw several good performances in their 7-2 win over the Lugnuts (Blue Jays). That list starts with Player of the Day Grant Holmes solid six inning start and Matt Beaty who hit his first home run as a Loon.
Michael Ahmed and Julian Leon matched Beaty's two hit game. Alex Verdugo played so that meant Verdugo had a hit, a double and two RBI.
Right-handed reliever Scott Griggs continued to improve, Griggs allowed an unearned run and a hit but also struck out three in his 2 IP.

Rookie-level Ogden
The Raptors' pitchers gave up twelve hits and nine walks in the 7-1 loss to the Osprey (Dbacks). Ivan Vietez was the Dodgers 27th round pick in 2015 and Vietez had his second straight poor start. Vietez pitched three innings and gave up five runs, seven hits, three walks and struck out four.
Rob McDonnell was the Dodgers 25th round pick in 2015 and in his 2⅓ IP, McDonnell gave up two runs, four hits, three walks and struck out five.
Gage Green and Willie Calhoun each had two hits.

Rookie-level Arizona
The Dodgers shutout the Cubs 3-0 as 2015 11th round pick Imani Abdullah made his second appearance. Abdullah started and pitched two scoreless innings, giving up two walks and striking out one.
Miguel Urena pitched five innings and gave up no runs, five hits and struck out four.
Ariel Sandoval had the key hit, a two-run home run in the sixth inning.

Triple-A: Los Angeles optioned pitcher Zach Lee to Oklahoma City; released catcher Brian Ward; placed pitcher Ryan Buchter on the temporarily inactive list.
