Dodgers vs. Braves schedule, starting pitchers

Jim Cowsert-USA TODAY Sports

Here is a brief look at the schedule and probable starting pitchers for this three-game series against the Braves beginning Monday night in Atlanta.

Monday, 4:10 p.m. (SportsNet LA)

Brandon Beachy made 46 starts for the Braves, and his 121 ERA+ with Atlanta is tied for 10th-best among all pitchers in franchise history with at least 40 starts, tied with Tom Glavine and ahead of Warren Spahn (120), both of whom had slightly more starts with the Braves that did Beachy. His last start at Turner Field was Aug. 14, 2013, a win over the Phillies that saw him allow two runs in six innings.

Matt Wisler in his three July starts has recorded 16, 17 and 18 outs, and during the month has a 26.8-percent strikeout rate, with 19 strikeouts and eight walks in 17 innings.

Tuesday, 4:10 p.m. (SportsNet LA)

Brett Anderson has lasted at least seven innings in three of his last four starts, and on the season has lasted seven innings six times, one more than his previous three seasons combined. Right-handed batters are hitting .302/.362/.414 against Braves southpaw Alex Wood this season.

Wednesday, 9:10 a.m. (SportsNet LA, MLB Network)

A baseball game you actually have to set an alarm for, on getaway day in Atlanta, with Mike Bolsinger on the mound, wondering if oysters, bad lighting or weather can disrupt another of his starts. The Dodgers torched Julio Teheran to the tune of eight runs in 4⅓ innings on May 26 at Dodger Stadium, but at home this year the right-hander is 5-0 with a 2.18 ERA in nine starts, with 49 strikeouts and 18 walks in 57⅔ innings.
