Player Of The Day

Corey Seager got to see what it was like to play at Isotopes Park as the Dodgers took on the Isotopes at Albuquerque. Seager's grand slam gave the Dodgers a nine run lead; the Dodgers won 9-2.

Triple-A Oklahoma City

The Dodgers scored nine runs before the Isotopes (Rockies) finally scored two runs in the eighth but that was too late as the Dodgers won 9-2. Corey Seager and Buck Britton each homered with Seager's being a grand slam in the eighth.

Seager went 2-for-5 with that grand slam and Seager also doubled. Scott Schebler was 3-for-4.

Zach Lee pitched 7⅓ innings and allowed two runs, eight hits and struck out seven. Juan Jaime finished up the game for the Dodgers.

Lee is 12-5 for the season and 3-2 since his MLB debut in New York.

Double-A Tulsa

The Drillers were swept by the Rockhounds (Athletics), losing 12-1 on Sunday afternoon. Jose De Leon started but only pitched two innings. Six other relievers followed and then first baseman Lars Anderson finished up with a tidy scoreless ninth inning.

De Leon did not pitch well in that short start, De Leon gave up three runs, four hits, two walks and struck out five. Two of the hits were home runs.

Brandon Dixon and Ronald Torreyes each had two hits.

Class-A Rancho Cucamonga

The Quakes split their series with the Rawhide (Diamondbacks), losing on Sunday 12-5 at Visalia. In a preview of a potential Cal League championship series, no advantage was gained by either team.

Nate Samson made three errors at shortstop. With Willie Calhoun at second base, it will be interesting to see how this set of middle infielders make out on the field in the last two weeks of the regular season.

Calhoun was 1-for-3 with a double and three RBI. Cody Bellinger returned to the lineup after missing a week. While no injury was ever announced for Bellinger, his absence began after he was hit by pitch last Sunday.

Bellinger was 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk. Kyle Garlick hit his fifth home run as a Quake.

Low Class-A Great Lakes

Dayton at Great Lakes was postponed and will not be made up.
