Mike Bolsinger struck out 11 over seven shutout frames for the OKC Dodgers on Saturday

Player Of The Day

Mike Bolsinger beat out several strong offensive performances to win the player of the day. Bolsiger struck out a season high 11 batters over seven shutout innings to lead the Dodgers to a victory. Mike allowed just three hits and walked only tow to lower his ERA to 2.31 for the season.

Triple-A Oklahoma City

Player of the day Bolsinger dominated the opposition as he punched out 11 over seven shutout innings as the OKC Dodgers downed the Chihuahuas (Padres) 4 to 1. Juan Jamie gave up the only run of the game in relief, then Juan Gonzalez recorded his 11th save of the season with a scoreless ninth.

At the dish O'Koyea Dickson connected on a solo homer, while Buck Britton went 2-for-3 with a couple of doubles. Jose Tabata and pitcher Bolsinger drove in the other runs.

Double-A Tulsa

The Drillers couldn't generate enough offense on Saturday as they fell to the Cardinals 3 to 2. Doubles by Lars Anderson and Peter Lavin accounted for the only extra base hits for Tulsa, while Erisbel Arruebarrena continued his hot streak by going 2-for-4.

On the mound starter Jose De Leon allowed just one run over four plus frames, punching out six along the way. Ralston Cash actually took the loss after permitting two runs in the sixth.

Class-A Rancho Cucamonga

Low Class-A Great Lakes

The Loons crushed the Cubs on Saturday as Great Lakes blew out South Bend 15 - 0. The Loons collected 20 hits in this game, with Matt Beaty going 5-for-6 and Justin Chigbogu 4-for-5 with a couple of doubles and three RBI's. Nick Sell and Brian Wolfe combined for five additional runs batted in, while Julian Leon's homer also contributed to the victory.

On the mound starter Michael Boyle picked up his first victory since joining Great Lakes, allowing just two hits over five shutout frames. Scott Griggs followed with two scoreless innings of relief, then Matt Campbell finished the game with a couple of perfect frames.

Rookie - Pioneer League - Ogden

The Raptors walked off with a 4-3 win over the Owlz (Angels) on Saturday. Gersel Pitre was the hero in this one as his single in the 12th sealed the victory. Deion Ulmer homered earlier in the contest, while Scott De Jong drove in the the other early run.

On the mound Ivan Vieitez allowed all three runs in this game, but after he left the game four bullpen arms combined for eight shutout frames. Marcus Crescentini recorded the first win of his career after tossing two perfect innings of relief.
