A busy week for the Dodgers gave Jacob Burch and me a lot of topics to discuss on the latest edition of the True Blue LA podcast. We talked Kenta Maeda and how he absorbed quite a bit of risk in his eight-year contract, and how cool the concept of a "champagne fight" sounds.
We touched on Yaisel Sierra, who looks like a gamble for the Dodgers, though at the same time fits with their overall plan and philosophy. We talked about Alex Anthopoulos moving his family from Toronto to Los Angeles to join the Dodgers front office, and what it means to have him aboard here.
Other items included Tuesday's pair of minor trades, bagels, and real-time reaction as some of the Rams-to-LA news was breaking on Tuesday.
