LOS ANGELES — Dodgers manager Dave Roberts had a productive first season at the helm in Los Angeles, winning the National League West and leading the Dodgers to the NLCS. On Monday, Roberts was revealed as one of the top three vote getters in NL Manager of the Year balloting, announced by the Baseball Writers Association of America.

The winners of both the AL and NL Managers of the Year will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 15 on MLB Network at 3 p.m. PT.

The other top-3 finishers in NL Manager of the Year are Joe Maddon of the Cubs and Dusty Baker of the Nationals.

The Manager of the Year Award has been around since 1983. The only Dodgers skipper to win the award is Tommy Lasorda, who won in both 1983 and 1988.

The last Dodger to finish in the top three in Manager of the Year voting was Don Mattingly, who finished second in 2013.

Roberts was named Sporting News NL Manager of the Year on Oct. 24.
