Double-A Tulsa

The Drillers saw Lars Anderson, Alex Verdugo and Willie Calhoun hit home runs but the Naturals (Royals) doubled up on the Drillers in their 10-5 win.

The game was tied at 3-3 going to the sixth inning when the Naturals took a one run lead.  That lead would rise to seven when the Naturals scored six runs in the seventh inning. Scott Barlow took the loss, giving up four runs in six innings pitched.

Class-A Rancho Cucamonga

The Quakes saw the Rawhide (Diamondbacks) score single runs in each of the last four innings to comeback and win 5-4 at LoanMart Field.  Rawhide infielder Henry Castillo hit a solo home run off Scott Griggs to break the tie and put the Rawhide ahead to stay.

Trevor Oaks started and allowed two runs on 11 hits.  A.J. Vanegas and Kyle Hooper also pitched for the Quakes.

Six players had one hit for the Quakes, Erick Mejia had a key two-run triple that momentarily gave the lead to the Quakes.
