LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers made official on Sunday morning their opening day roster that was reported on Saturday night with the final few decisions made during the club's Freeway Series finale against the Angels.
Included on the roster are 13 position players and 12 pitchers, and a whopping 10 players on the disabled list. I have no idea if that is a record or not for the club to open the season, but 10 is a big number, even with Yasmani Grandal and Howie Kendrick both expected to miss just a week.
Included on the disabled list is Josh Ravin, who is on the 40-man roster and was injured in a car crash very early in camp. ln my roster projections I had Ravin ticketed for the minors, but apparently I underestimated the power of the MLB Players Union.
Brett Anderson, out with back surgery, was placed on the 60-day DL to make room for non-roster invitee Charlie Culberson. The seven players on the 15-day DL were all retroactive to March 25, the earliest date possible to back date the move.
Here is the Dodgers' opening day roster

Bullpen (7): Kenley Jansen, Chris Hatcher, J.P. Howell, Joe Blanton, Pedro Baez, Yimi Garcia, Louis Coleman

Infielders (5): Adrian Gonzalez, Chase Utley, Corey Seager, Justin Turner, Charlie Culberson
Infielder/outfielder (1): Kiké Hernandez
