With their loss, Rancho Cucamonga fell two games back with two weeks to go in their first half while a new acquisition makes his first appearance for winning Oklahoma City.
Player of the day
2011 12th round pick O'Koyea Dickson had the key hit in the Dodgers three-run rally in the sixth. With two out and two on, Dickson doubled in Rob Segedin and Zach Walters to take the lead. Dickson was 3-for-4 with that double and two RBI.
Triple-A Oklahoma City
The Dodgers welcomed new acquisition, right-handed pitcher Nick Tepesch from across the diamond when the Dodgers beat the Express (Rangers) 4-3 on Monday. Tepesch, who was a member of the Express, opted out of his contract on Saturday and Los Angeles signed him as a free agent and assigned him to Oklahoma City.
Tepesch pitched five innings and gave up a two runs (one earned), seven hits, two walks and struck out four. Grant Dayton and Logan Bawcom each pitched two innings, Bawcom picked up the save.
The Dodgers rallied for three runs in the sixth to give them the lead for good. O'Koyea Dickson doubled in two with two outs to take the lead and then Brandon Hicks singled home Dickson for the third run of the inning and ultimately the winning run.

Class-A Rancho Cucamonga
The Quakes slipped a little farther back in their division fight with their 8-5 loss to 66ers (Angels). The Quakes and Tommy Bergjans lead 3-2 going to the sixth and then 66ers scored six runs to take a big lead.
Bergjans pitched 5⅓ innings and gave up six runs, six hits, one walk and struck out eight.
Erick Mejia was 3-for-5 with two doubles. Matt Beaty was 2-for-4.

Dominican Summer League - Dodgers 1 and 2
The Dodgers two Dominican Summer League teams each played their second game of the season. July 2015 signee Ronny Brito is making his professional debut, on Monday, Brito tripled and drove in two runs. One other notable July 2015 signees was outfielder Starling Heredia is 0-for-8 in the early going with five strikeouts and two walks.
