The Dodgers go for a series win over the Cardinals on Sunday night, and will do so with the same lineup that scored seven runs in Saturday's win.
That means no Yasiel Puig still, his fourth straight game out of the lineup and third since leaving Thursday's game with tightness in his right hamstring.
Puig did appear as a pinch hitter in Friday night's game.
After a three-hit night on Saturday, the lefty-batting Andrew Toles gets the call again in right field, against the right-handed Mike Mayers, starting for St. Louis. Toles faced Mayers on May 10 in Tulsa when both were in Double-A, and was 3-for-3 against him with a stolen base.
St. Louis roster move
The Cardinals recalled Mayers to start Sunday night's game, his major league debut. To make room on the roster, right-hander Miguel Socolovich was optioned to Triple-A Memphis.
Socolovich pitched the final two innings for St. Louis on Saturday, with two strikeouts and a walk.
