The Dodgers and Redbirds (Cardinals) split a pair of games, the Redbirds won the makeup game 6-5 while the Dodgers won the second game 5-2.

Jharel Cotton started the first game and went five innings, allowing four runs, six hits and struck out six.  This was the fifth start in his last seven where Cotton has given up four or more runs.

Drew Maggi had two hits to pace the offense in the first game.

In the second game, Brock Stewart started and pitched six innings.  Stewart gave up a run, two hits, one walk and struck out three.  Rob Segedin hit his 20th home run of the season.

In the seventh and Tulsa leading by a run, Garcia entered the game and after striking out the first batter, he had a hit batter, a single and then a run scoring double.  Garcia left the game but both runners he left would score.  The Travelers would score five runs and take the lead and eventually the game.

Shortstop Tim Locastro had four hits and  is hitting .340 in the Texas League.  Locastro has struck out only twice and has no walks in 54 plate appearances with the Drillers.

Kiké Hernandez continues his rehab, Thursday was the first of two games he will play with the Drillers.  He went 0-for-4 in his first game with the team.
