Broadcast will be available in Los Angeles TV market

LOS ANGELES — The series finale between the Dodgers and Cubs on Sunday, Aug. 28 at Dodger Stadium will be televised nationally by TBS, the network announced on Thursday.

The broadcast will not be blacked out in the Dodgers’ television market. SportsNet LA will also televised the game. The series finale is a 1:10 p.m. PT telecast.

Brian Anderson will call the Dodgers-Cubs game on play-by-play, with Cal Ripken Jr. as analyst. This is the first ‘Sunday MLB on TBS’ telecast involving the Dodgers in 2016.

It won’t be the only national telecast during the weekend series. The middle game on Saturday, a 1:05 p.m. game, will be televised by Fox Sports 1, also not blacked out in LA and also carried by SportsNet LA.

Should the Dodgers make it to and advance in the postseason this year, they won’t be on TBS, as the network this year has the American League Wild Card Game, both AL Division Series and the AL Championship Series.
