Player of the day
Right-handed pitcher Mitchell White pitched two scoreless innings where he also struck out four on Friday evening. White had made two appearances prior to joining Loons and he now has ten professional appearances and all ten are exactly two innings long and White has yet to allow an earned run.
White has struck out 28 and walked six in those 20 innings pitched.
Triple-A Oklahoma City
The Dodgers and the Sky Sox (Brewers) were postponed due to weather, they are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday.
Double-A Tulsa
The Drillers won a low-scoring game with their 2-1 win over the Travelers (Angels). Seth Frankoff struck out eight in his six innings and three relievers each pitched one scoreless inning each to close out the much needed win.
Dan Johnson, who was signed as a knuckleball pitcher, was in the lineup as the designated hitter. Johnson walked twice and he scored after the second walk when he went to third on Lars Anderson's second double of the game.
Johnson would then score what would turn out to be the winning run on Edwin Rios' sacrifice fly.
Class-A Rancho Cucamonga
The Quakes beat the 66ers (Angels) 6-3 in San Bernardino. The Quakes won their fifth straight game. Felipe Gonzalez started and went five innings, allowing a run and striking out two.

Mitchell White struck out four in his two innings of work.
Pioneer - Ogden
The Raptors took a one-run win when they beat the Rockies 6-5. The Raptors came as close as you can in splitting a game between two pitchers.
Rob McDonnell started for the Raptors and pitched 4⅓ innings and allowed three runs. McDonnell was followed by Zac Grotz. Grotz pitched 4⅔ innings, he gave up two runs and five hits but also got the win.
Keibert Ruiz went 3-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI, DJ Peters, Luis Paz, and Brandon Montgomery each had two hit.
