LOS ANGELES — A pair of Dodgers earned Pacific Coast League honors on Monday, with Rob Segedin named to the 2016 All-PCL Team and Jose De Leon named Pitcher of the Week.

Segedin was named the third baseman on the All-PCL Team, voted on by league managers and media representatives. The 27-year-old hit .319/.392/.598 with 21 home runs, 23 doubles, nine triples, 71 runs and 69 RBI in 103 games for Triple-A Oklahoma City this year.

Segedin earned his first big league call up in August, and so far has hit .268/.304/.439 in 18 games, with 12 RBI in just 46 plate appearances. Last week was quite busy for Segedin, who hit his first two major league home runs on Monday and Tuesday, then was there for the birth of his son Robinson late Tuesday night in Los Angeles.

De Leon hasn’t received his major league call just yet, but he’s building an overwhelming case. Last week he had a pair of double-digit strikeout starts, flirting with a no-hitter on Monday, with 10 strikeouts and one hit allowed in seven innings. He followed that up Sunday with a 13-strikeout performance in 7⅔ scoreless innings to clinch the American North Division championship for Oklahoma City.

De Leon had a 1.56 ERA in five August starts, with 45 strikeouts and two walks.
