The Dodgers' win in Colorado on Thursday night was their 60th of the season, which put them on pace for exactly 90 wins. That's because they have reached 108 games, and the 2016 season is two-thirds over. It's time to compare the season in 54-game chunks.
Last year the Dodgers were 62-46 through 108 games, in 2014 they were 61-47, and in 2013 they were 59-49.
Here is a breakdown of 2016 to date, with the second 54-game stretch compared to the first 54 games.
2016 | W-L | Runs For | Runs Allowed | BA/OBP/SLG | ERA |
1st 54 Games | 28-26 | 230 (4.26/gm) | 195 (3.61/gm) | .238/.309/.374 | 3.38 |
2nd 54 Games | 32-22 | 243 (4.50/gm) | 216 (4.00/gm) | .254/.328/.429 | 3.80 |
Now for the individual players, grouped roughly by positions. First up the catchers, and look at what a healthy Yasmani Grandal can do:

Up next are the infielders, where Justin Turner went absolutely nuts, and Corey Seager wasn't far behind. Chase Utley, on the other hand, saw a big drop in production as the season has worn on.

Since I began tracking Dodgers seasons in thirds back in 2009, Turner's 16 home runs are second for any period, surpassed only by the 17 hit by Joc Pederson in the first 54 games on 2015. Turner's 48 RBI match Matt Kemp in the second 54 games of 2011 for the most in the last eight seasons.
Howie Kendrick is an interesting case. He was grouped with the infielders in the first 54 games since more of his defensive time came in the infield. Since then, his time has shifted more to the outfield, so that's where he gets classified now. Keep in mind the totals for each position are rough, and include all of Kendrick's first 54 games in the infield and all of his second 54 games in the outfield.
Speaking of the outfield, injuries took their toll for just about everybody but Kendrick in the second 54-game stretch.

Now we move onto the bullpen, the workhorses of this second 54-game stretch. Dodgers relievers averaged 3.87 innings per game in the second 54 games, after 3.01 innings per game in the first third of the season. Seven Dodgers relievers threw at least 19 innings over the last 54 games, while Joe Blanton, Pedro Baez and Kenley Jansen in the second set of 54 games threw at a pace between 81-85 innings over a full season.
