Vin Scully isn’t with the Dodgers this week as they head to New York to play three interleague games with the Yankees, but that doesn’t mean he won’t have his presence felt.

The folks at Foley’s New York Pub & Restaurant are honoring the retiring Hall of Fame broadcaster this week, starting Monday, with a Vin Scully Burger at their restaurant. The burger is stuffed with “Dodger Blue Cheese” and topped with Ballyconnell Irish bacon and a sesame ginger dressing.

Scully has family roots in Ballyconnell County in Cavan, Ireland. Foley’s is also the home of the Irish American Baseball Hall of Fame, of which Scully was a 2009 inductee.

"Vin Scully's mother came from my hometown, and we are distant cousins," said Shaun Clancy, owner of Foley’s. "I wanted to do something to acknowledge those roots and, of course, his place in the Irish American Baseball Hall of Fame."
