First pitch of game 1 is at 5:09 p.m. PT at Dodger Stadium

LOS ANGELES — The 2017 World Series starts on Tuesday at Dodger Stadium, and on Friday Major League Baseball announced start times for the Fall Classic.

Game 1 will start at 5:09 p.m. PT, with the Dodgers hosting the Astros for the first two games. Every game is slated to start either at at 5:09 p.m. PT or within minutes of that.

Game 5, if necessary, would start at 5:16 p.m. on Sunday, and Game 7, which would be at Dodger Stadium, starts at 5:10 p.m.

UPDATE: MLB on Thursday announced that all remaining games of the World Series, beginning with Game 3, will start at 5:20 p.m. PT.

Every game of the World Series will be televised by Fox, with Joe Buck calling the play-by-play alongside analyst John Smoltz. They will be joined on the broadcast by reporters Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci. Fox television coverage before each game will begin at 4:30 p.m. PT, except for before Game 5, which starts at 5 p.m.
