LOS ANGELES — Major League Baseball announced the umpire assignments for the World Series on Monday, led by crew chief Gerry Davis

Gerry Davis is in his 34th year as a major league umpire, and this will be his sixth World Series and 32nd postseason assignment. Davis was also the crew chief during the Dodgers-Dimondbacks NLDS. Phil Cuzzi, Paul Nauert and Bill Miller also worked that series, and will be on the World Series crew as well.

The Dodgers and Astros will open the World Series on Tuesday night with Game 1 at 5:09 p.m. PT.

Here are the umpire assignments for Game 1:

Home plate: Cuzzi
First base: Nauert
Second base: Davis
Third base: Laz Diaz
Left field: Miller
Right field: Dan Iassogna

Mark Wegner will be the replay official for Games 1-2 then rotate in to left field for Game 3. Cuzzi will be the replay official for the remainder of the series, starting with Game 3. Tripp Gibson will be the replay assistant throughout the World Series.
