Vin Scully has always been number one in our hearts and we’ve all missed hearing his voice this year. In a moment of pure joy, Scully came out for the first pitch before Game 2 before the Dodgers and Astros.
Instead of the legendary broadcaster throwing the pitch, Fernando Valenzuela was instead summoned to handle the task. Vin insisted that he had pulled his rotator cuff while practicing for the moment.

*Tied with every other kind of Vin Scully
After Valenzuela tossed one right down the middle, you knew the only proper thing to kick off the game was Scully himself saying the words recited before all Dodger games in Los Angeles.
“I’m going to ask you to do it on three, so they can hear it all the way to Houston,” Scully called out to the packed crowd.
