LOS ANGELES — With the wild card games now complete and the Division Series matchups set, Major League Baseball on Friday unveiled start times for the remainder of the first round of the playoffs.
The Dodgers and Diamondbacks will battle in Game 3 of the NLDS on Monday at Chase Field in Phoenix at 7:08 p.m. PT if there are any American League Division Series still active. But if both AL series end in sweeps, Monday’s Dodgers-Diamondbacks game will start at 6:08 p.m.
Tuesday’s Game 4 in Phoenix, if necessary, has a scheduled first pitch at 6:08 p.m., though if it is the only game that day it will start at 5:08 p.m.
Should the series go the distance, Game 5 will start at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 6:08 p.m., or 5:08 p.m. if it is the only game.
The Dodgers-Diamondbacks NLDS opens on Friday night with a 7:31 p.m. start at Dodger Stadium.
