PHOENIX — The Dodgers reached a deal with KTLA to televise 10 regular season games in April and May, the club announced Wednesday.
The first game will be Wednesday, April 5 against the Padres, the final game of the season-opening three-game series at Dodger Stadium. The 10 games include six home games and four road games.
Here is the full schedule of KTLA telecasts:
Wednesday, April 5 vs. Padres, 7 p.m.*
Sunday, April 9 at Rockies, 12 p.m.
Wednesday, April 12 at Cubs, 5 p.m.
Sunday, April 16 vs. Diamondbacks, 1 p.m.

Wednesday, May 3 vs. Giants, 7 p.m.*
Sunday, May 7 at Padres, 1:30 p.m.*
*KTLA will show ‘Access SportsNet: Dodgers’ pregame show before these games
In addition, before the May 3 game against the Giants, KTLA will televise the 30-minute Vin Scully retirement ceremony from last September at Dodger Stadium.
SportsNet LA, entering its fourth season, is still unavailable to the majority of the Los Angeles market, carried only by Time Warner, Charter (which owns Time Warner Cable) and the relatively small Bright House Networks. Time Warner, which committed $8.35 billion to the Dodgers over 25 years for the exclusive marketing rights to the Dodgers-owned network, still hasn’t reached carriage deals with DirecTV, AT&T, Verizon, or other television providers.
The Dodgers have reached agreements with local over-the-air television networks in previous seasons to carry a handful of games, usually at the end of seasons. The final six games of the 2014 regular season were carried by KDOC, and in 2016 KTLA televised the final six games of Vin Scully’s career. In those cases, as in this new agreement, the local station simulcast the SportsNet LA broadcast.
In addition to the games on KTLA, the Dodgers will be on Fox or Fox Sports 1 six times in 2017, and their April 10 contest against the Cubs is an exclusive national telecast by ESPN.
