The Dodgers started the week with a pair of frustrating losses to the Nationals, but finished off the week with four straight wins, including one walk-off and two other comeback victories.
The result was another winning homestand, giving the Dodgers a 25-10 home record in 2017.
Batter of the week
Corey Seager hit a pair of doubles on Saturday, including his first career walk-off hit, then on Sunday hit a grand slam in the eighth inning to beat the Reds and complete a stellar week. He also hit the game-tying home run in a pitcher’s duel on Wednesday.
Honorable mention goes to Chase Utley, who was 5-for-13 (.385) with a home run, two doubles, and four walks, and to Justin Turner, who was 4-for-9 (.444) with a home run in his return from the disabled list.
Pitcher of the week
Clayton Kershaw struck out nine in seven strong innings in a great duel with Stephen Strasburg on Wednesday, helping to snap a losing streak and start a four-game winning streak to end the week.

Transactions
Wednesday: Chris Heston was claimed off waivers by the Twins. The Dodgers utilized the extra 40-man spot to activate Brock Stewart from the 60-day DL and optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Thursday: The Dodgers added pitcher Fabio Castillo to the 40-man roster and optioned him to Oklahoma City. To make 40-man roster room, left-handed pitcher Justin Marks was designated for assignment.
Friday: Justin Turner was activated from the disabled list after missing 19 games with a hamstring strain, and outfielder Brett Eibner was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Friday: Luis Avilan was activated from the DL, and reliever Sergio Romo was placed on the 10-day DL with a left ankle sprain.
Saturday: Alex Wood was activated from the disabled list to start against Cincinnati, and reliever Brandon Morrow was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
