Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

The Dodgers will attempt to extend a few streaks on Sunday. The Dodgers have won nine straight games, the last time they won ten in a row was in 2013, from August 7th to the 17th.

The Dodgers have won ten straight at home, the longest streak in Los Angeles is 13 games, which they have done twice, the last time was in 2013. The last time the franchise won 11 games at home, the Brooklyn Dodgers did that in 1920.

The Dodgers have hit at least one home in their last 16 games. The longest streak in Los Angeles is 17 games, which was done in 1960, the franchise record is 24 games that Brooklyn did in 1953.

Brandon McCarthy has had some success against some of the Rockies but he’s also had not much success against others. Nolan Arenado is hitting .231 against McCarthy but two of his three hits are home runs.

Charlie Blackmon and D.J. LeMahieu are hitting .385 (in 13 at bats) and .500 (in 12 at bats) against McCarthy.

McCarthy has held Ian Desmond to a 1-for-6 career record, Mark Reynolds just has two hits but also four walks in 11 career plate appearances.

With today’s start, Rockie left-hander Tyler Anderson will be making his fourth start in the Rockies four 2017 series against the Dodgers. Anderson is 0-3 with 5.74 ERA in 15⅔ innings in his prior three starts against the Dodgers this season.
