Tommy Lasorda returns to Dodger Stadium after surgery

A little more than a week after surgery to replace his pacemaker, Hall of Fame former Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda was back at Dodger Stadium on Monday, and was recognized with a video tribute during the game.

The 89-year-old Lasorda, with his arm in a sling, stood up from his seat in the owner’s box, and received a prolonged standing ovation from the crowd.

“He looked good tonight,” manager Dave Roberts said. “To see him out here watching a baseball game is good for all of us.”
