LOS ANGELES —- The Dodgers have continued to win series in August but it has been a little tougher of late. Today the Dodgers play their third series finale this month with the series win on the line. They won the first two times, in Atlanta and then this week in Arizona; we’ll see if they can win today to make it three for three.
This season, the Dodgers have won 23 series, lost six and tied eight. Since dropping their home series against the Washington Nationals in the first week of June, they have won 15 series and tied three.
.@Dodgers haven't lost a series since June 5-7 vs Nationals.

Kenta Maeda just reached 100 innings pitched this season, last year he passed that mark right before the All-Star break. This will be his fourth 2017 start against the Padres this season. He is 0-2 with a 5.93 ERA in 13⅔ innings in his previous starts.
Luis Perdomo has not pitched against the Dodgers this season, he did face them six times in 2016, three times as a starter. In those starts, he gave up at least four runs in each of those games.
Four Dodgers who could play today have hit home runs against Perdomo: Chase Utley, Yasmani Grandal, Joc Pederson and Logan Forsythe.
