Tyler Flowers hit a two-out two-run homer off Pedro Baez and that provided the difference in the Braves 5-3 win over the Dodgers on Wednesday night at SunTrust Park.

The loss ended the Dodgers nine-game winning streak as the Braves are now the two-time winning streak enders against the Dodgers this season. The Braves are also the only team to beat the Dodgers since July 3rd, as the Dodgers are 3-3 against the Braves and 17-0 against everyone else.

After the Braves tied the game in fifth inning, it became a battle of the bullpens and the Braves won with Rex Brothers getting the win and Arodys Vizcaino got his third save.

The Dodgers took a lead which for the last 53 times they did that, they won, when Cody Bellinger homered in the second. However, the lead was short-lived when Danny Santana hit a two-run homer in the bottom of that inning.

The Dodgers would score single runs in the fourth and fifth innings to re-take the lead but then a bobble by Corey Seager may have cost the Dodgers a double play in the bottom of the fifth. Freddie Freeman would drive home that runner on a base hit and the game would be tied at three until the eighth.

Both starting pitchers had no decisions

Brock Stewart pitched four innings and gave up his first earned runs of the season when Danny Santana hit a two-run homer off him in the second inning. Stewart gave up those two runs, three hits, and three walks in four innings.

Julio Teheran pitched five innings and gave up three runs and four hits while striking out four.

Another Dodger record for Cody Bellinger

At age 22, Bellinger became the youngest Dodger to hit 30 home runs in a season. Duke Snider had been the youngest at 23 when he 31 home runs for the 1950 Brooklyn Dodgers. Mike Piazza was 24 when he set the all-time Dodger rookie record with 35 home runs in 1993.
