The Dodgers have 90 wins, and we haven’t even reached September yet. That seems ridiculous to type, even after watching this team win an absurd amount of games over the last four months.
At 90-36, the Dodgers are one of just a dozen teams to reach 90 wins in 126 games since 1900, per STATS LLC, and the first since the 2001 Mariners, who were also 90-36 en route to a major league record-tying 116 wins.
The Dodgers are on pace to tie that record.
It is August 24, by the way, which puts the Dodgers in even more rare territory.
The Dodgers are 3rd team to reach 90 wins by August 25, joining the 2001 Mariners & 1998 Yankees

The Dodgers hit 90 wins before any other team reached 80 wins. Yeesh.

The Dodgers did reach 90 wins before September one other time. The 1953 Brooklyn Dodgers won their 90th game on Aug. 31.
