As if their play on the field wasn’t bad enough, the Dodgers have another reason for concern after Wednesday’s fourth consecutive loss. Corey Seager fouled a ball off his right ankle in the loss to the Phillies, and was taken for X-rays after the game.
They were negative, per the beat reporters in Philadelphia.

Seager wears pad on right shin. Has colorful bruises above (calf) and below (ankle) from foul balls this week. "Stupid pad. Missed it twice"— Bill Plunkett (@billplunkettocr) September 21, 2017
Seager was 0-for-5 on Wednesday, and is 5-for-34 (.147) in the first nine games of the road trip, which ends on Thursday afternoon.
It’s brunch and baseball on Thursday morning, with Kenta Maeda on the mound for a 10:05 a.m. PT start in the series finale. Mark Leiter Jr. starts for the Phillies.
