As if their play on the field wasn’t bad enough, the Dodgers have another reason for concern after Wednesday’s fourth consecutive loss. Corey Seager fouled a ball off his right ankle in the loss to the Phillies, and was taken for X-rays after the game.
They were negative, per the beat reporters in Philadelphia.
Corey Seager just walked out of the #Dodgers clubhouse with a limp, for what that's worth. A bad night might have just gotten worse.

Seager fouled a ball off his right ankle. Left with trainer. Assuming he's getting an x-ray. Nobody seemed overly concerned.

Seager wears pad on right shin. Has colorful bruises above (calf) and below (ankle) from foul balls this week. "Stupid pad. Missed it twice"

Seager was 0-for-5 on Wednesday, and is 5-for-34 (.147) in the first nine games of the road trip, which ends on Thursday afternoon.
