The Dodgers 15th annual community service week kicked off Monday and will be making it’s way through Los Angeles all week. City Hall meetings, batting practice for first responders and helping those in need are on the agenda, with many more planned.
Tuesday was Yasiel Puig’s turn to put his own stamp on the caravan. The Dodger right-fielder surprised customers at a Glendale McDonald’s Tuesday by taking orders and working the grill.
There were so many people that showed up to see Puig that he joked, “People need to go to work,” as he thanked all the families in the Los Angeles area for the support.
