The team with the best record and highest payroll in baseball won the World Series at Dodger Stadium in 2018, a year after the team with the best record and highest payroll lost the Fall Classic at Chavez Ravine. Both times, the Dodgers were on the bad end of it.

On this week’s podcast we recap the final three games of the World Series in Los Angeles, and review the series as a whole. The bad bullpen, the terrible offense, the questionable decisions, all of it.

Baseball takes no breaks, and we are thrust directly into the offseason, so we start the hot stove season with a quick overview — the seven Dodgers free agents, plus decisions on Clayton Kershaw and David Freese coming this week, and maybe Dave Roberts too.
