LA Is Awesome For Sport Right Now!!!

Since it's Christmas, I wanted to share some positivity with the LA community :) Let's be honest, Los Angeles is freaking awesome in the world of sport right now.

I can't remember the last time that LA was competing for national championships across the board as much as they are right now. From baseball to football, here is a brief reminder of why LA is currently so awesome!

Los Angeles Dodgers

Obviously, the success in LA starts with the Los Angeles Dodgers. They have come so close to victory in recent seasons, making the MLB finals back-to-back in 2017 and 2018. In particular, the 2017 finals vs Houston Astros were one of the most memorable in recent times.

Considering how close they have come, 2019 may finally be the year that the Dodgers can make it past that final hurdle. If they could get someone like Bryce Harper on a short-term contract, he could be the missing piece to the puzzle.

Either way, there's no reason why the Dodgers shouldn't be challenging for victory come playoff season. Baseball betting tips odds seem to suggest this too, with t making the Dodgers third favorites to claim the title.

Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams are one of the hottest teams to win the Superbowl this year, even considered the favorites by many in the media. They are well out in front of everyone in the NFC West, with the Seahawks their closest challengers.

The Rams' offense has been very good all season, despite the slight blips in their last two games vs the Bears and the Eagles. In Jared Goff and Aaron Donald, they also have two contenders for the MVP Award this season.

A favorable draw could very well see the Rams making the Superbowl in February.

Los Angeles Chargers

However great the Rams have been this year, we can't forget how well the Chargers have played. They are currently tied for top spot with the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West.

The Chargers are in great form, winning their last four matches that included wins over the Chiefs and the Pittsburg Steelers. Philip Rivers is ranking among the best current quarterbacks in the league.

Drew Brees may have something to say about this, but it's not entirely impossible to think we could have an all-LA Superbowl next year. How awesome would that be?!

Los Angeles Lakers

I think everyone caught basketball fever in LA when LeBron James signed in the 2018 offseason. The King has been the best player in the world for years and doesn't look like slowing down anytime soon.

The Lakers also have got great youth in players like Kyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball, who have both improved dramatically in recent weeks. It's not a coincidence to see that since LeBron has joined, the Lakers could challenge for the Western Conference.

The Golden State Warriors are still the overwhelming favorites, but if the Lakers can get Anthony Davis... well, let's just say they'll give Steve Kerr's side a run for their money.

Final Thought

It's exciting times for LA sports fans. It wouldn't be surprising to see the vast majority of winner's medals head this way in 2019!
