Kirk Gibson bobblehead doll unveiled

Will be given out April 30 at Dodger Stadium

The Dodgers will giveaway a Kirk Gibson bobblehead doll before their second game of the season, on Friday, March 30 against the Giants at Dodger Stadium. The bobblehead doll, which commemorates the 30th anniversary of the 1988 World Series-winning Dodgers, was unveiled today.

This bobblehead seems to capture the intesity of Gibson quite well.

Gibson will also throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the game on opening day, April 29, part of a weekend celebration of Gibson and the 1988 team. In addition, Gibson will autograph some bobbleheads which will be part of an auction to raise money for the Kirk Gibson Foundation to fight Parkinson’s Disease.
