PHOENIX — We have reached the end of the Arizona portion of spring training for the Dodgers, with one final game on Saturday against the White Sox at Camelback Ranch before everybody heads home.

The exodus back to California began early for several players, including Yasiel Puig, Matt Kemp, Cody Bellinger, Chris Taylor, Logan Forsythe and Kenley Jansen, who left after Friday’s game.

The race home for those who stayed behind gets a bit of a boost with an earlier start time on Saturday, playing the White Sox at noon instead of the usual 1 p.m. PT starts.

Alex Wood starts on the mound for the Dodgers in his final tuneup for the regular season, with Austin Barnes catching him behind the plate.

Also slated to pitch for the Dodgers on Saturday are Pat Venditte and Yimi Garcia. Hector Santiago pitches for Chicago. Venditte was officially reassigned to minor league camp on Saturday morning, and Garcia is pitching for the first time in six days. Garcia, who missed all of 2017 after Tommy John surgery, might open the season on the disabled list.

“Is he close? Absolutely,” manager Dave Roberts said. “But to run the play out in his rehab is the right thing to do.”

This is the fourth meeting this spring between the Camelback Ranch co-tenants, and the Dodgers are the home team on Saturday. The Dodgers won two of their first three meetings.
