MLB: Spring Training-Los Angeles Dodgers at Arizona Diamondbacks Rick Scuteri-USA TODAY Sports

The 2018 baseball season is here, and I wanted to get my predictions on record because it’s fun to be able to look back and laugh once in a while.

The six division winners seem so crystal clear and obvious that I am almost certain at least two of them will suffer some sort of demise. I picked actual win totals for the National League West just because, and I do think we will see two playoff teams from the division this year, down from three.

Wild card teams are denoted with an asterisk (*) below.

NL West
Dodgers 96-66
Diamondbacks* 91-71
Giants 84-78
Rockies 83-79
Padres 71-91

In case you were wondering the Bovada over/under win totals for the NL West are Dodgers 96½, D-backs 85½, Rockies 82, Giants 81½, Padres 69½

NL Central
Cubs
Cardinals*
Brewers
Reds
Pirates

NL East
Nationals
Mets
Phillies
Braves
Marlins

AL West
Astros
Angels*
Mariners
A’s
Rangers

AL Central
Indians
Twins
White Sox
Royals
Tigers

AL East
Yankees
Red Sox*
Orioles
Blue Jays
Rays

Playoffs

Nationals over Cardinals, Dodgers over Cubs, Astros over Red Sox, Indians over Yankees

Dodgers over Nationals, Indians over Astros

Dodgers over Indians
