There is no Matt Kemp in the Dodgers lineup for the opener of their doubleheader on Saturday afternoon against the Giants, but there are also no roster moves as of yet regarding the ailing Dodgers.
Kemp left Friday’s game in the fourth inning with tightness in his left quad, but there is no word how long this will affect his status.

Corey Seager was out of the starting lineup in Friday’s opener after suffering a left hip flexor late in Wednesday’s game. But he’s back in there at shortstop, batting third on Saturday. Seager singled as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning on Friday night, his third consecutive birthday with a hit.
Tony Cingrani, who Dave Roberts said experienced “a dead arm” and had decreased velocity in his Friday night appearance, is unavailable to pitch in the day game Saturday, per Roberts.
San Francisco moves
The Giants initially planned to option outfielder Austin Slater to make room for Chris Stratton, and even announced the move. But instead Slater is starting in left field for San Francisco in Game 1 of the doubleheader.
Instead San Francisco placed Mac Williamson on the seven-day concussion DL and placed second baseman Joe Panik on the 10-day disabled list with a left thumb sprain. The Giants also called up utility man Alen Hanson from Triple-A Sacramento and moved closer Mark Melancon to the 60-day DL.
