The Dodgers conveniently have an off day on Thursday, which clears the stage for minor league opening day to get some run. All four domestic affiliates start their 2018 seasons on Thursday, including Oklahoma City playing the first minor league game of the year.
OKC, the Dodgers’ Triple-A affiliate, will open in Iowa against the Cubs, where it will be quite cold.
On the en route to Des Moines, where it is currently 22 degrees. Nothing quite says baseball season like packing for a road series having to put wool socks, boots, and hand warmers in your suitcase.
