MLB: San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

The Dodgers are back home to play a two-game set against the Athletics, the first of two mini-series between these two teams this season. The Dodgers head to Oakland for two games Aug. 7-8.

Here is a look at the schedule and pitching matchups for LA’s first interleague test in 2018.

Tuesday, 7:10 p.m. PT (SportsNet LA, MLB Network)

Hyun-jin Ryu is 3-3 with a 4.12 ERA in 11 career interleague starts, with 58 walks and 17 walks in 63⅓ innings, including a 2.30 ERA in three starts against American League teams in 2017.

Left-hander Sean Manaea has allowed one run in each of his two starts, lasting 7⅔ innings in his first outing and eight frames in his second start. The only other two pitchers in baseball this season to last at least seven innings in each of their first starts are former Cy Young winners Corey Kluber and David Price.

Wednesday, 7:10 p.m. (SportsNet LA)

Alex Wood has yet to walk a batter in 14 innings this season, with 10 strikeouts. He has never had a three-start stretch with no free passes. He was originally going to start Tuesday but after his bout of food poisoning was pushed back a day.

This is the first road start of the year for Daniel Mengden, who won his final three away starts of 2017 while allowing no runs in 23 innings.
