Justin Turner bats 3rd, Logan Forsythe 7th in return to Dodgers lineup

Justin Turner is back in the Dodgers lineup and batting in his customary third spot in the lineup on Tuesday night against the Marlins.

Turner made 122 of his 124 starts in 2017 batting third and two years ago batted third 109 times in his 140 starts. Dodgers three hitters in 2018 are hitting .271/.366/.406 with four home runs.

Turner is 1-for-3 in his career against Wei-Yin Chen, having faced him in 2016.

Logan Forsythe, who was also activated from the disabled list on Tuesday, is 11-for-28 (.393) with three home runs, two doubles, a triple and three walks against Chen, with all their encounters coming in 2014-15 when Forsythe was with the Rays and Chen pitched for the Orioles.

Forsythe starts at second base and bats seventh on Tuesday.
