LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers made a bullpen swap before their series finale against the Rockies, recalling left-hander Edward Paredes from Triple-A Oklahoma City and optioning J.T. Chargois to OKC.

Chargois allowed a run in his inning of work on Tuesday night, the fourth time in his last five outings he has been scored upon. Chargois has 23 strikeouts in his 17 innings this season but also a 4.76 ERA and 12 walks, including nearly as many walks (six) as strikeouts (seven) in his last six outings.
This is the second time in the majors this season for Paredes, who retired two of his three batters faced in his one appearance.
The left-hander has a 1.17 ERA and two saves in 15 relief appearances this season in Triple-A, but also has been walking hitters at a high rate. Paredes has 12 walks in 15⅓ innings with Oklahoma City, and 19 strikeouts.
