MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

The Dodgers and Diamondbacks are back at it again with a quick two-game series beginning Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium. Here is a look into the schedule and probable pitchers.

Tuesday, 7:10 p.m. PT (SportsNet LA)

Rich Hill will be activated off the disabled list to start Tuesday’s series opener, 24 days after his last start, when he allowed seven runs in five innings at home against Arizona. The D-backs hit three balls over the fence in that game but only had two home runs.

This is the fourth series between Arizona and LA, and Tuesday will be Zack Godley’s fourth start against the Dodgers this season. He has a 3.18 ERA in the first three starts with 12 strikeouts and 10 walks in 17 innings.

Wednesday, 7:10 p.m. (SportsNet LA, MLB Network)

Alex Wood struck out a season-high eight in his last start, on Thursday in Phoenix. Patrick Corbin has yet to allow more than three runs in any start this season, and has allowed one total run in 13⅓ innings against the Dodgers.

Roster move

On Monday the Dodgers sent utility man Breyvic Valera back to Triple-A Oklahoma City after he was the 26th man for the weekend series in Mexico. Valera has appeared in five games with the Dodgers this season, all as a reserve, going 0-for-4 with two walks while playing 2⅓ innings in right field and two innings at second base.
