Tulsa and Rancho Cucamonga bring home wins, Oklahoma City and Great Lakes take home losses. Three of four Rookie League teams lose as DSL Dodgers Robinson are the only winners on Friday.

Player of the day

DJ Peters played well in April but since then he has struggled to have an OPS over .700. But on Friday night, he went 3-for-5 with two home runs.

Triple-A Oklahoma City

The Dodgers gave up four runs in the seventh and they lost 6-3 to the Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals). Drew Hutchison gave up the four runs and he took the loss. Guillermo Moscoso started for the Dodgers and he pitched five innings and gave up two runs.

Connor Joe hit his first home run for Oklahoma City. He went 2-for-3 with two runs batted in. Edwin Rios and Alex Burg also had two hits.

Double-A Tulsa

The Drillers scored five runs in the fifth and went on to win 9-3 over the NW Arkansas Naturals (Royals). The Drillers hit four home runs with DJ Peters hitting two homers and Will Smith and Luke Raley also homered.

In the five run fifth inning, Smith and Raley each hit two-run homers and Peters hit one of his two solo home runs.

Mitchell White got the win, he pitched six innings. White allowed three runs, five hits and walked two. He also struck out four.

Class-A Rancho Cucamonga

The Quakes jumped out to an early lead and then held on to a 5-4 win over the San Jose Giants. Dustin May struck out seven to get the win and another star on the mound may be emerging.

Marshall Kasowski got his third save as he pitched the final two innings and struck out four. The 2017 draft pick has pitched 9⅓ innings in his time with the Quakes and he has struck out 16 and walked two.

Cody Thomas hit a two-run homer to put the Quakes on the board first. Rylan Bannon went 4-for-4 with two doubles, two walks, two runs scored and two runs batted in. Saige Jenco and Omar Estevez each had two hits.

Class-A Great Lakes

The Loons led by a run going to the bottom of the eighth but then Lansing Lugnuts (Blue Jays) scored four runs and they went on to win 7-4. James Carter gave up the four runs and he took the loss.

Carter gave up a bases-clearing double to score three runs and that gave the Lugnuts the lead.

Devin Mann had three hits and Darrell Miller hit his first home run of the season.

Rookie - Pioneer

The Raptors received seven walks but could only score three runs as they lost 12-3 to the Orem Owlz (Angels). The Raptors pitching staff gave up 14 hits and walked seven. Orem went 7-for-13 with runners in scoring position.

Justin Lewis gave up three runs in one inning in his first start for the Raptors. On Friday, he gave up five runs and only got two outs.

Daniel Robinson hit his first home run and went 2-for-3.
