The Dodger minor-league affiliates won two and lost three on Sunday.

Player of the day

Cristian Santana drove in four for the red-hot Quakes. Santana went 3-for-5 with a double and those four runs batted in.

Triple-A Oklahoma City

The Dodgers were walked-off in their 2-1 loss to the New Orleans Baby Cakes (Marlins). In a 1-1 tie going to the bottom of the ninth, with one out, reliever Joe Broussard walked Tomas Telis and then Cristhian Adames singled to put runners on first and second.

A passed ball and a strikeout put runners on second and third with two out. Cito Culver would then single home Telis with the winning run.

Andrew Toles hit a solo home run to tie the game at 1-1 in the eighth inning. Unfortunately, the Dodgers went 1-for-9 with runners in scoring position and left ten runners on base.

Double-A Tulsa

The Drillers lost 9-5 to the Frisco RoughRiders (Rangers) but the story is more about Mitchell White than a loss. White pitched five innings and he gave up six runs and ten hits. White also had one strikeout and one walk.

Since June 2nd, White has started six games he has pitched five or more innings in five of those starts. But he has not been dominant and he is giving up over a hit per inning.

DJ Peters had two hits including his 15th home run.

Class-A Rancho Cucamonga

The Quakes won their sixth straight and third straight against the Inland Empire 66ers (Angels) with their 10-2 win at LoanMart Field in Rancho Cucamonga. Isaac Anderson pitched five innings and gave up one run to get the win.

The Quakes collected 14 hits, along with Cristian Santana, Nick Yarnall also had three hits. Gavin Lux, Cody Thomas (who extended his hitting streak to 11 games) and Logan Landon each had two hits.

Class-A Great Lakes

The Loons fell behind by six runs in the top of the first and they eventually lost 8-4 to the Lansing Lugnuts (Blue Jays). Alfredo Tavarez recorded one out and gave up six runs and three hits.

Eric Peterson had three hits, Luke Heyer and Moises Perez each had two hits for the Loons.

Rookie - Pioneer

The Raptors won their seventh straight game as they beat the Idaho Falls Chukars (Royals) 9-4 on Sunday. Every Raptor batter had at least one hit. Chris Roller had three hits, Matt Cogen and Jair Camargo each had two hits.

James Outman hit his second home run in the season.

Rookie - Arizona League

The AZL Dodgers were off on Sunday.
