The Dodgers made another move with the bullpen prior to Friday night’s opener with the Padres, activating Yimi Garcia and placing Daniel Hudson on the 10-day disabled list with right forearm tightness.

Garcia had been on the disabled list since July 4, missing the last 43 games with right forearm inflammation. The right-hander had a rough go earlier in the season, giving up 15 runs (11 earned) and six homers in 19 innings over 20 appearances.

This is the second time this month that Hudson has landed on the DL with tightness in his pitching arm. The 31-year-old has dealt with several arm injuries over the years, having Tommy John surgery twice and missing the entire 2013 season, while appearing in only 12 games between 2012 and 2014.

In 40 games this season for the Dodgers, Hudson has allowed 25 runs (21 earned), 38 hits and 18 walks in 46 innings, striking out 44.
