Cardinals and Nationals each win their Game 5 on the road

The two road teams each won their NLDS Game 5 on Wednesday albeit in different ways.

The Houston Astros will try not to be the first 107-win team to go out in the Divisional Series as they host the Rays in their ALDS Game 5 later this afternoon.

Cardinals at Braves - Game 5 (Cardinals win 3-2)

The Cardinals took the crowd, the Braves and probably some of the TV audience out of it early when they scored a record amount of runs in the first inning.

After the Braves loss, catcher Brian McCann announced he was retiring

The Cardinals will host NLCS Game 1 on Friday because of what happened in the second NLDS Game 5 last night.

Nationals at Dodgers - Game 5 (Nationals win 3-2)
