The American League Divisional Series have so far gone as you might have expected, the Astros and the Yankees each won the first two games to take 2-0 leads in the best-of-five series.
The Astros have taken their lead behind two strong starts from Justin Verlander and Gerrit Cole. While the Yankees have scored 18 runs and have had comfortable wins over the Twins.
Today, the action returns to the National League where both series are tied 1-1. The Cardinals will host the Braves in the first game while the Dodgers try to win their second game with Hyun-Jin Ryu on the mound.

Twins at Yankees - Game 2 (Yankees lead 2-0)
The Yankees scored a run in the first inning but it was the third inning that made the difference in this game. After getting the first three batters on to load the bases, Giancarlo Stanton made it 2-0 with a sacrifice fly. Then the Yankees loaded the bases again and this happened.

After that, the Yankees cruised to another win over the Twins. Which at this point, is pretty normal.
The Twins fell to 0-2 in the ALDS; have lost their last 15 playoff games, the longest losing streak by any team in postseason history. Of those 15 losses, 12 have come against the Yankees, including each of the last nine. https://t.co/yvEEdTv1NJ

Rays at Astros - Game 2 (Astros lead 2-0)
The Astros had another great start and while the Rays did make it close late, so far Verlander and Cole have been as formidable a pair that has pitched in the postseason for some time.
